Wesley Fenlon | Not with a bang but a whimper.

Temporarily interjecting a little real world straight talk into a predominately media-focused blog, this election is too important to pass up saying something about.  I could write it on LiveJoural, but that’s like, even more useless.  But it’s too early to celebrate yet.

So, instead, I shall impart upon thee a little political wisdom: don’t ever listen to anything Lou Dobbs has to say.  Why?  Because he’s a douchebag.  Okay, so maybe you knew that already.  But play along.  Let’s take a look at some proof.

3. When Bill Clinton was speaking at a memorial for the victims of the school shooting at Columbine, CNN decided to cut away from Lou Dobbs’ program and cover the memorial.  He was so pissed at CNN’s obvious bias that he ended up leaving the network.

2. Lou Dobbs loves himself more than anyone else ever could.  Just having the nickname Mr. Independent is bad enough, but he’s got to take it a step further and plaster it everywhere.  He must have some sort of deal with CNN, who plaster his label all over the screen whenever his name comes up.  What’s worse, his so-called “independence” just seems to amount to him talking about how shitty the “media” is.  Doesn’t that include you, Lou?
